Luisa is diagnosed with HIV. The fear of revealing this to her family and drives her to emigrate, but just as she begins to adapt to her new city, her plans change and she must return to her country. The film offers a contemporary look at HIV, providing an intimate portrait of relationships, family and the quest for identity.
