Lightnin' Jack

Wanted for a murder he didn't commit, Lightnin' Jack travels to Arizona where he gets a job on the Manning ranch. Two men are out to get the Manning ranch and see their chance when Manning decides to use Lightnin's horse in the big race. They get Manning to bet his ranch and then kidnap Lightnin' so he won't be there to ride.

Ford Beebe's "original screenplay" (he had used it before) finds the cattlemen, headed by "Calamity" Parker, opposing the use of their rangelands by sheepherders, with cattlemen Lee Jamison and Ed Randall in the dissenting minority and they offer sheepman Angus McLeod free grazing privileges. Saloon owner Barney Ross offers to keep the sheepmen off of the range and out of town if each cattleman will pay $500.

Bitterroot

Estranged from his son and granddaughter, and grieving his wife's death, 78-year-old WWII veteran Francis Lee, Sr.'s only comfort comes from outings with his caretaker, Maya. A brief moment of hope arises when he wins a million-dollar sweepstakes, but it quickly turns to despair after becoming a victim of financial fraud, pushing him to his limits.

A pair of Marshals nab an outlaw after a heist goes bad and he's separated from his crew. The outlaw is forced to betray his posse, but with a race on to find the stolen gold, one Marshal turns against the other and an every-man-for-himself bloodbath begins.
