Walt Rogers finds a man that has been injured and robbed. The man was returning home after a long absence. When Walt goes to his ranch he is assumed to be the long missing son. Unable to tell the dying mother he assumes the part. But then there is trouble when the robber arrives with the papers to prove he is the son.
Jim Blaine and his daughter Elsie meet Bill Carson , while en route to Weepah in search of gold. Elsie, who is much admired by Bill, plays the violin in the dance-hall managed by Steve Morton, who controls a gang of claim jumpers. Elsie's father is robbed of gold dust by one of Morton's men, Bill recovers it and indicates he knows the culprit.
This is a low budget western about six undesired women who are taken out of a western town and transported to prison. Their adventures along the way are the basis for the film. The head man, Charley, is in charge of making sure the women stay in line. One night, Dolores, a Mexican girl, tries to escape. Charley catches her and has her tied to a tree, hanging by her wrists, for punishment. He strips her to the waist and lays a bull whip on her back.
Scarlet is relieved of her duties as a sheriff by the mayor of the dying city of Sallow. The dreaded Aldritch gang has been putting pressure on the town and people have been leaving by the dozens. In a last effort to save face with the citizens, Mayor Thomas tries firing the female sheriff to replace her with someone he believes has a stronger presence. As Scarlet begins to adjust to her new life as a rancher, the Aldritch gang has nothing stopping them from collecting a family debt.
