Camilo undertakes a journey that will take him from the cane fields to Las Puertas del Cielo, a brothel where he will meet Mecha. There he will wake up from his unconsciousness in the midst of the passions, interests and violence that move the world of money and politics of the time.

Dean extrapolated landscape images from 1920s Ford advertisements, leaving out the cars to focus on their representations of place and nature. She made the animation using a digital version of a multiplane camera technique employed in early Disney films to create an immersive and 3D illusion by separating two-dimensional images. This technique was itself inspired by Ford’s assembly line; Dean uses it to explore historical depictions of the American dream, exaggerating the subject matter’s fantastical style. The Road Agents

Road Agents begins as a pair of outlaws prepares to rob a stagecoach. Donning masks and brandishing six-guns, the bad guys relieve the passengers of their valuables and also make off with a box full of payroll money. As the sheriff organizes a posse, the bandits are seen dividing their loot. The greedier of the two crooks beats up his partner and absconds with their ill-gotten gains. The other bandit, thirsting for revenge, joins the sheriff's posse to track down his former chum.
