Breaking Through

Story of Western life. The action centers about a fight to put through a single track from a mine in Alaska to the coast. If not completed within certain time heroine loses title to property. Young engineer aids in successful fight.

Wild Horses

An over-the-hill rodeo champion gets fired from his assembly line job in Texas. He and a buddy then decide to head to Wyoming to get a job herding mustangs. His wife gives him her his blessing, knowing he needs to find something which satisfies his spirit. They sign up for a roundup headed by a veteran cowboy. With the job, he finds himself cross-wise of a corrupt government official, who is making big profits on the illegal sale of wild horses.

Santos Vega

The story of Santos Vega, an Argentine gaucho from the province of Buenos Aires, who lived around 1830, and who gave rise to a legend in which, being an invincible payador, he ends up falling defeated to none other than the Devil, embodied in the person of Juan Sin Ropa, the only one who could defeat him.

Whispering Smith

Whispering Smith is a virile, fearless type of the true American whoso theory of life is to give every man a chance to show what is in him. There is nothing of the bully or braggart about him. He is only a man who knows instinctively what is right and never falters in his steps to see that justice is given where it is deserved and crime punished on the same basis. Originally shot as a serial to be called "Whispering Smith", distributor Mutual Films decided to release it as two separate films - this film, which was released first, and Medicine Bend (1916).
