Unai and Elena, childhood friends, skip school to fulfill a forgotten promise: to light fireworks together that they never got around to using. No actual dialogue can be heard in front of the camera; Ikil’s voice is only heard as a Voiceover (V.O.). The entire weight of the story relies on intense sound design, poetic timing, and the physical contrast between the chaotic city and the peaceful flow of the river in the province.
