A Mighty Adventure

Three little insects are transported to a concrete city. A series of extraordinary micro-adventures forces them to explore themselves and helps to build their self-esteem, so they can finally get back home. They become much stronger and happier, are able to choose their own future.

The Violinist

It is Singapore in the late 1930s. Kai and Fei are childhood friends and aspiring violinists. When Japan invades Malaya in 1941, Kai chooses to forgo his music career to join the anti-Japanese forces. After the war Kai goes missing. Determined to find him, Fei performs all over Southeast Asia, all the while seeking any news of Kai. Yet, as time fades, Fei has to decide if she must find her own music to define the remaining years of her life.

The Carry-On

What haunts us is not only death, but aging. Pei-Hua is drawn like a blurred sketch—gray, undefined, embodying the quiet experience of a woman growing older.Mothers often remain fixed in place, becoming a point of reference for their daughters’ journeys. Each of us carries a “carry-on”—unfinished burdens or lessons meant to be faced in this life. When we finally leave, do these carry-ons remain? In the film, a fire becomes a ritual of release, a way of saying goodbye. Life is rarely pure joy or sorrow, and The Carry-On is no exception.
