Your Geek News is an award winning Entertainment News web series created and hosted by Matt Campagna and Anastasia "Nat" Tubanos. The show previews and reviews upcoming genre films and geek movies such as X-Men, The Terminator, Star Trek and Twilight for fans of the show and the films to comment and discuss on YourGeekNews.com. The Previews on Your Geek News come in the form of extensive, occasionally exclusive, clips and cast/crew interviews that are accompanied by Matt + Nat's highly opinionated desk banter.
Worldfocus was an American newscast focused on international news and reporting. The newscast was originally anchored by Martin Savidge and later hosted by Daljit Dhaliwal. It was produced by WNET New York and distributed to U.S. public television stations by American Public Television. It ceased broadcasting on April 2, 2010.
Business Today is a now defunct morning business program of GMA Network. It was hosted by Karen Davila, Rico Hizon, Dong Puno and Mon Isberto.
Issues and Answers was a once-weekly TV news program that was telecast by the American Broadcasting Company network from 1960 to 1981. It was distributed to the ABC affiliate stations early on Sunday afternoons for either live broadcast or video taped for later broadcast. Issues and Answers was ABC-TV's response to such TV programs as NBC-TV's Meet the Press and CBS-TV's Face the Nation. It featured TV reporters interviewing selected newsmakers of the contemporary time period - mostly government officials, both domestic and foreign. Unlike the other networks' news-interview TV programs, which featured newspaper and radio reporters along with TV correspondents, Issues and Answers more commonly featured only ABC News correspondents. Issues and Answers was canceled in 1981, succeeded by the 60-minute This Week with David Brinkley.
Primetime News is the flagship news programme on Singapore's Channel NewsAsia. The programme was broadcast every day at 9:00 pm in Singapore and ran for 30 minutes. It previously ran at 8:00 pm Singapore time for one hour. The programme covers all of the daily headlines from Singapore and abroad. The show was formerly called Channel NewsAsia Tonight from 1 March 1999 until 31 August 2001 before some of Channel NewsAsia's live news programmes were renamed and revamped. The last edition of Primetime News aired on 20 January 2013 before an overhaul on Channel NewsAsia's broadcast on 21 January 2013.
The Game Show is an interactive internet television show that covers video game and gaming industry news. It aired live on the internet television network The Stream of Consciousness. An edited version was later archived on their website and was available as a free download from the iTunes Store. The show was hosted by Jim Festante, David Guida, and Nikole Zivalich. The Game Show was cancelled due to lack of funding after its third season.
news2day is an Irish children's television news programme, broadcast weekdays at 4.25pm on RTÉ Two. It is eight minutes long, and is similar in format to the BBC's Newsround.
Weather Center was a news/weather program produced by The Weather Channel in Atlanta, Georgia. Initially, Weather Center was the lone news program for The Weather Channel. By 2000, the show had started being significantly pared down. By the end of 2008, Weather Center only aired for one hour a day during the week and two hours on weekends. The 4pm hour of Weather Center was replaced by PM Edition.
News, Sport & Weather is a regular Sky News programme providing news and sport "in 20 minutes, every 20 minutes". The programme airs daily 8 pm – 9 pm and additionally 2 pm – 5 pm at weekends, which is in 15-minute segments. During early 2010, the evening weekday NSW broadcasts were covered by various presenters. From 10 September these are presented Monday–Friday by Martin Stanford - after the axing of his show SkyNews.com. The Friday evening edition continues to run from 7 pm, whereas Monday–Thursday they start from 8 pm. In early 2011, Sky News started to scale back this format. It now currently only exists for one hour in weekdays from 8 pm, and is now in 20-minute news wraps. The 9 pm hour was replaced by Sky News At Nine and Press Preview. It is still broadcast for two hours on Friday nights from 7 pm. Bank Holiday editions are now replaced by 30-minute Sky News bulletins.
Weekend View is a weekend weather program on The Weather Channel, airing from 5-11 a.m. Eastern Time. Because of this timeslot, it can be considered the weekend equivalent to Morning Rush, although it airs for six hours in comparison to the three-hour time length of Morning Rush. Weekend View includes local and national outlooks for the day as well as lifestyle segments.
Day Planner is a late morning-early afternoon weather forecast program airing on The Weather Channel Mondays through Fridays from 11:00am-2:00pm ET.
