Nightline

Nightline is a New Zealand late night news show currently on TV3 hosted by Sacha McNeil. Nightline, hosted usually in the 10.30pm to 11.00pm timeslot, has a high focus on the arts and current events. It competes directly with TVNZ's Tonight show. Nightline generally runs the entire year, its timeslot being pushed later on some occasions to cater to long-running shows, but traditionally takes a short break over the Christmas period. Previous hosts have included Rachel Smalley, Samantha Hayes, Carly Flynn, Carolyn Robinson, Leanne Malcolm, Sarah Bradley, Joanna Paul and Belinda Todd.

The Live Desk was an American news and talk program on the Fox News Channel. It was cancelled and replaced with America Live with Megyn Kelly.

News on Q

News on Q was the flagship evening newscast of the Q network in the Philippines. It was produced by GMA Network through GMA News and Public Affairs. Connie Sison and Ivan Mayrina were the final anchors of the newscast. Launched in November 11, 2005, it used to air at 21:00 on all Q stations in the country, and was originally hosted by Ivan Mayrina and Rhea Santos. The tandem of Rhea Santos and Ivan Mayrina was formed from the GMA defunct show Pinoy Abroad. On March 5, 2007, in line with the network's rebranding, News on Q's medium shifted from the usual Filipino to English. In 2008, economist Winnie Monsod became its newest segment reporter on the country's issues. On August 11, 2008, along with Balitanghali, 24 Oras and Saksi, it was repackaged with a new theme, new set, new OBB, and a new set. In 2009, from the usual 30 minutes, the runtime was extended to 45 minutes. On April 5, 2010, the medium was restored to Filipino, Connie Sison joined the newscast and the runtime was changed to 1 hour. On April 21, 2010, Sison becomes the permanent replacement for Rhea Santos. Following the announcement of GMA News TV on February 7, 2011, the flagship newscast aired its final episode on February 18, as Q would go for its final sign-off on February 20. It was replaced by State of the Nation with Jessica Soho as part of GMA News TV's first day on the air.

Today In L.A. is a local early-morning local newscast airing over NBC's west coast flagship, KNBC-TV, in Los Angeles. It became the first morning local newscast in Southern California when it debuted on KNBC in 1986, as a half-hour lead-in to The Today Show. Kent Shocknek and Pat DaSilva were the original anchors, with Christopher Nance handling weather duties, and Fred Roggin in a taped segment reporting sports. DaSilva, who is Mexican-American also became the first latina to do a morning weekday newscast. DaSilva sat in the anchor chair for more than a year and was replaced by Carla Aragon. Shocknek and Aragon each departed in later years; Shocknek joining rival station KCBS-TV in 2001 to anchor their early-morning and midday newscasts, and Aragon returning to her native New Mexico to anchor the evening newscasts on NBC affiliate KOB-TV in Albuquerque, from 1994 to her retirement from the news reporting business in 2007. Nance left the station under controversial circumstances in December 2002, after 18 years with the station; he later sued the station, its upper management, and KNBC's parent company due to what he believed was racial and religious discrimination. Eventually successors at the Today in L.A. anchor desk included Kathy Vara, David Cruz, Kelly Mack, Chris Schauble, and Jennifer Bjorklund. Rachel Boesing handled weather reporting duties, while Paul Johnson reported traffic news, while he also filled-in weather stories on occasion. Vara, Mack, Cruz, and Schauble eventually left the station; Vara later returned to KNBC in March 2010 after nine years at crosstown KABC-TV, and Schauble anchoring the first two and a half hours of KTLA's present five and a half-hour morning news block since early 2011. Bjorklund remained at KNBC, presently as a general assignment reporter until 2012.

Ffeil is a Welsh-language television news programme for children and young people, produced by BBC Cymru Wales for S4C.

Live on Q

Live on Q is a 10 minute hourly newscast on the Q television network in the Philippines. Live reports usually head the news line-up. The program was patterned after GMA's hourly newscast GMA Flash Report.

Seachd Là

Seachd Là is a weekly Scottish Gaelic-language news magazine produced by BBC Alba, featuring a round up of the week's news. Its stories are from BBC Alba's news programmes An Là and Eòrpa. It is shown on Sundays from the Glasgow newsroom and is presented by An Là weather presenter, Kirsteen MacDonald.

Aksyon

Aksyon, whose weekday edition is also known as Aksyon Prime, is the flagship news program broadcast by TV5 in the Philippines. It is anchored by Cheryl Cosim and Erwin Tulfo, with special segments hosted by Shawn Yao and Lourd de Veyra on weekdays. The program is broadcast Weeknights at 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm., and Saturdays at 5:00 pm. to 5:30 pm PST. The newscast is simulcasted on AksyonTV and on radio thru 92.3 News FM in Mega Manila.

GameSpot TV

GameSpot TV, later renamed Extended Play and then X-Play, was a television program about video games. The program, known for its reviews and comedy skits, aired on G4 in the United States and has aired on G4 Canada in Canada (and briefly on YTV during its time as GameSpot TV), FUEL TV in Australia, Ego in Israel, GXT in Italy, MTV Russia & Rambler TV in Russia, NET 25 (GameSpot TV to Extended Play only) & Solar Sports in the Philippines, and Adult Swim and MuchMusic in Latin America.

ITV News at 1:30

ITV News is the afternoon news programme on the British television network ITV, and is produced by ITN. It airs from Monday to Friday at 1:30pm. The programme is presented by a single newscaster; however in the event of a major story, another newscaster will be on location. The programme features twenty-five minutes of national and international news as well as a weather forecast, followed by five minutes of regional news from the ITV regions at 1:55pm.

3 News

3 News is the television, internet and radio news service of New Zealand's first private commercial television channel TV3. The flagship news bulletin is the nightly 6pm news, but 3 News also has morning, midday and evening news bulletins, as well as several current affairs shows. As the news brand of MediaWorks, 3 News produces bulletins live from Auckland on TV3 and an hour later on 3+1, it produces video, audio and article news for 3news.co.nz, and reports news for Radio Live news bulletins.
